Solo drill · Tempo and silence
Hold the Silence
Ask the question on screen out loud, as if to a real guest. Then hold complete silence until the ring closes — no "or, I mean…", no softening, no re-asking. In a real conversation this is where the second, truer answer arrives. If you speak, press I broke it and the round restarts.
A good rep
- The question is asked as if the guest were real — voice settling at the end, no trailing "so… yeah."
- The silence is actually silent: no "mm," no re-asking, no visible reaching for the next question.
- Held to the ring's close. This game scores itself — held or broken. Breaks aren't failures to hide; they're the measurement.
Background: the tempo channel — "let silence work."
